  • Description: A poor and ingenuous girl, Gianna, finishes high school and is full of hope for the future. However, in her attempt to protect her honor, she seriously injures her supervisor Dimitris Georgiou. At the police station she meets a young reporter on the police beat, Alexis, who is interested in her case. Georgiou occasioned the death of a colleague of Gianna, who had an affair with him, but he sent her heartlessly away. He doesn’t hesitate to ask Gianna’s mother’s permission to marry her daughter, although she has made it abundantly clear that she doesn’t want to see him again. Gianna finds a new job and starts going out with Alexis, whom she likes a lot. At the same time, her old classmate Katerina breaks up with a poor university student, with whom she was together for a long time and gets involved with a rich man, who is none other than Alexis’ father. Nevetheless, Gianna’s affair with Alexis has a happy ending, since they end up getting married, despite her father-in-law’s initial objections.
